Dr. Henry Schultz is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1975, and completed in internal medicine residency at Mayo from 1975 to 1979. He has been a primary care internist in the Division of Community Internal Medicine since 1979. He enjoys caring for adults of all ages, and training younger practitioners in the science and art of medicine.

From 1987 to 2002, Dr. Schultz served as the Program Director of the Mayo Clinic Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Nationally, he has served as:

  • Chair of the Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine
  • President of the National Residency Matching Program
