Dr. Richardson is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, and hip. She earned her medical degree from Medical College of Virginia and completed her residency training at State University Of New York — Stony Brook. Following her residency, she completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the University of North Carolina as well as additional hip arthroscopy fellowship training at the University of Virginia.

She currently serves as team physician for Arizona State University Women's Soccer and Basketball teams and has served in the past as a team physician for University of Richmond Athletics, North Carolina State University Football, multiple high schools, and several youth soccer and rugby leagues.
