Bradford Hoppe, M.D., MPH, is a Professor of Radiation Oncology and the Medical Director of Particle Therapy. He specializes in the management of patients with lymphoma, lung cancer, thymic cancer, prostate cancer, and GI malignancies. His interest is to provide outstanding patient care, conduct research to improve patient outcomes, and help train the next generation of radiation oncologists.

Dr. Hoppe participates in the multi-disciplinary approach to the management of patients with cancer, which includes weekly tumor conferences, where new patient cases are presented and discussed amongst specialty providers including oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists.

His research activities have focused on investigating the role of particle therapy in improving outcomes in cancer patients. Specifically, his work has been patient focused on improvements in quality of life and reducing the risk of side effects from radiation.

Dr. Hoppe is an international expert in particle therapy and helps educates physicians worldwide via lectures and published review articles and chapters. He is also an American Board of Radiology examiner for specialty credentialing of graduating residents in Radiation Oncology.
