Biographical summary
Colin L.W. Driscoll, M.D., is an Otolaryngologist with a subspecialty certification in Neurotology who has a special interest in ear and skull base disorders.
His Clinical focus includes:
- Evaluation and management of tumors involving the ear/skull base including, vestibular schwannoma, glomus tumors and facial nerve tumors.
- He diagnosis and manages the range of disorders involving the middle and inner ear such as, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis and all types of hearing loss.
- He works on a multidisciplinary skull base surgery team to provide patient centric and comprehensive care. Choosing a treatment path requires a careful review of options and a particular focus on an individual patient's priorities.
In addition to clinical activities Dr. Driscoll is active in research and the education of residents and fellows. He has had many leadership positions at Mayo Clinic and nationally and is currently Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery.
