Biographical summary
Margaret DiGuardo, M.D., is a board-certified Clinical Pathologist with additional board certifications in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Transfusion Medicine.
Dr. DiGuardo attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She obtained residency training in clinical pathology at the University of Virginia and subspecialty training in both Molecular Genetics and Transfusion Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. DiGuardo currently holds a dual appointment at the clinic and is also an Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. DiGuardo's practice focuses on cellular therapies, including bone marrow transplants and novel therapeutics as well as immunohematology. Her research pursuits focus on clinical
applications of molecular testing.
