A Passion for the River
From 1910 to 1938, William J. Mayo, M.D., owned a series of three grand riverboats. Each was a physical manifestation of the Mayo family values of hospitality, fellowship and generosity. This booklet describes life on the Mississippi River as experienced by the Mayo family and their guests and offers invaluable insights into the lives of Mayo Clinic's founders. This superb historical document is free of charge to Mayo Clinic patients, friends and employees. Because supplies are limited, one copy per person, please.
