Psychology

The Section of Psychology provides a broad range of patient evaluation, education and therapy services, including neuropsychological assessment of cognitive disorders, psychological evaluations of mood and personality disorders, cognitive behavioral interventions and psychophysiologic therapies (such as biofeedback and relaxation therapies).

Special areas of interest include:

• Mood and anxiety disorders
• Chronic pain (including headache pain) evaluation and therapies
• Weight management and eating disorders
• Anger and stress management
• Evaluation and treatment of psychological factors affecting medical conditions
• Quality of life evaluation and behavioral intervention in oncology patients
• Cognitive, behavioral and psychological evaluations of organ transplant patients
• Neuropsychological assessment for detection and differential diagnosis of dementia and other cognitive disorders
• Sports-related concussion evaluation
