Pediatric Learning and Behavior at Mayo Clinic

Problems involving learning and behavior are common in childhood and adolescence. Difficulties with attention, specific learning disabilities or developmental delay can be associated with school failure. Diagnoses associated with these symptoms include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism and pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). Anxiety, depression and thought disorders are also present in children and adolescents.
