ROCHESTER, Minn. — Mayo Clinic's Sports Medicine Center will provide a Saturday morning injury clinic for middle school and high school athletes injured during Friday night or Saturday morning sports activities. The clinic will be open each Saturday from Aug. 30 to Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to noon. The last appointment is at 11:30 a.m.
Appointments may be scheduled by calling 507-266-7800, starting at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday. Walk-ins also are welcome but must arrive before 11 a.m. Appointments will receive priority.
The Saturday morning injury clinic, located in Mayo Clinic's Sports Medicine Center, Charlton Building (L-C), Rochester Methodist Hospital, will be staffed by a physician, physical therapist and athletic trainer. Care options will include X-rays, splinting, bracing, crutch instruction, casting treatment and rehabilitation exercises.
