The recommendations of the Health Policy Center's first national symposium were honed in a series of four Health Policy Forums held in late 2006 and 2007. Smaller, diverse groups of experts developed actionable reform solutions for health care reform in a "think tank" setting during the forums.
Each Policy Forum focused on a set of general recommendations from the symposium. Policy Forums were co-hosted by leading health policy organizations in locations conducive to uninterrupted focus and dialogue. There were approximately 15-20 members per forum. The forums were approximately one and one half days in duration.

Mayo Clinic's Health Policy Center will serve as the primary sponsoring organization of the policy forum series. Additional funding from individual benefactors or organizations will be sought to support these events.
