Cardiovascular problems

If your primary problem is cardiovascular (related to the heart, arteries, veins or lymphatic vessels), you can make an appointment in the following ways:

Appointment staff will help coordinate all appointments and tests at Mayo and answer any questions.

Cardiovascular surgery

Noncardiovascular problems

When your primary problem is not cardiovascular and you would like assistance in determining which department would best meet your needs, call: (507) 538-3270 Central Appointment Office 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

Information to have available when you call

Please be prepared with the following information about your medical problem(s):

Primary medical problem
Your primary medical problem is the one that is most urgent. It is the major reason for the current appointment. If only one problem can be handled during this visit to Mayo, the primary problem is the one you hope to have settled.

Other medical conditions
Be prepared to list any other medical problems that you have had.

Prior medical evaluations
You may be asked about recent examinations or tests. This information helps decide on the best type of appointment for your situation.
